Elyon Summary

Dungeon and Battlefield Summary

by Ayia 2020. 4. 5.

Elyon's dungeons can be entered based on the character's level and the average item level.

There are a total of 11 dungeons, from the first Goblin Cave to the most difficult Mist of the fog (hero).

If you want to check a dungeon's requirements, click on the Dungeon UI of the Map (M) in the main menu (ESC). You can check the conditions for entering the dungeon or items that are dropped.

Dungeons Entry

※ However, matching with the other factions is not possible.

In the Dungeon UI of the Map (M), without having to get a separate party, you can automatically match/enter through the automatic matching button.

Of course, you can form a separate party and enter, or if there are not enough people, it can be filled with automatic matching.

However, a 5-player dungeon requires a class to play a specific role, such as tanking or healing.

Roles and players are determined when matching with 1 Tank, 1 Healer, and 3 Damage Dealers for effective clears.

If you want to enter without the perfect party configuration, you can enter the dungeon gate directly.

The advantage of using the Dungeon UI is that you can enter anywhere in the world. You can match or enter according to the level and player role requirement of the dungeon.

On the other hand, if you enter through the dungeon gate, you must go directly to the place where the dungeon gate is located. It gives the advantage of being able to enter right away without limiting the number of people or their roles.

▲ Dungeon UI (left) and Dungeon Gate (right).

Therefore, you can choose the method you want depending on the situation.

For example, suppose that a four-person party with one mystic (healer), one assassin (damage dealer), and two elementalists (damage dealers) wants to enter a dungeon of five.

  • Entry from the dungeon gate - The party can enter the dungeon of 5 players with 4 players.
  • Entry through Dungeon UI - The party must wait until one Warlord (tank) matches.

What if a 5-player party with 3 Warlords, 1 Gunner, and 1 Mystic has 5 players?

Since there are 3 tanks, the role composition is not correct, so the party cannot enter through the dungeon UI, but can instead enter through the dungeon gate.

※ If you select a specific dungeon from the list of dungeons, the Map (M) will show you the gate location of the dungeon.

However, if you don't see it, you can perform one of the following options:

1. Drag the map by using the mouse wheel.

2. Check the gate location to the dungeon in the legend.

Tip! When one of the party members enters, the rest of the party members are automatically asked to enter as well, and they enter immediately upon approval.

Dungeon Automatic Matching

If there is a lack of players due to circumstances in the dungeon that's already in progress, the party leader can recruit party members through the "Auto-Matching" button.

At this time, if a player has checked "Allow additional matching parties" and if the role conditions are met, that player can be matched to an already in-progress dungeon.

Dungeon List

Here is a brief summary of the list and conditions of the various dungeons.

Each dungeon has restrictions on the number of players, levels, and items, so check before entering.

※ The Hall of Challenge is a dungeon where you can test your limits by defeating monsters that are getting stronger and stronger.

There are up to 50 stages, and you can challenge or stop depending on your status in order to get rewards for successful stages.

※ Trial dungeons are activated only by clearing the normal difficulty level of the dungeon once first. (ex: After clearing the Goblin Cave, a dungeon of trial is activated for the Goblin Cave)

Field Boss

Hunting on the Harth continent, you can sometimes see stone statues.

This stone statue is a field boss monster and a powerful monster that can be defeated by a 5-person party.

▲ You can check each location and the dropped items on the map (M).

However, if you don't see it, you can perform one of the following options:

1. Drag the map with the mouse wheel in order to zoom in.

2. Check the boss monster in the legend.

To summon the field boss monster, you need an item called "Breath of x".

This item can sometimes be obtained by hunting monsters near the field boss.

For example, if you want to summon Riokan, you have to hunt the nearby monsters and get the "Rikan's Breath" item.

If you have a breath item, you can summon the field boss monster by pressing the "F" key on the corresponding stone statue.

▲ On the left side of the picture, you can see Riokan's stone statue state and on the right side of the picture, you can see Riokan after he has been awakened via a breath item.

Field boss monsters are summoned in a non-empty state, and a better item can be obtained depending on the contribution level when killed.

Field boss monsters must be killed in a party state, note that it is not possible to obtain a reward for killing them alone.

Battlefield

Elyon's battlefield content is always in progress, except for Guild War, you can experience the rest of the content in the Hall of Fame.

Let's start by looking at what content we have.

Battlefield Content

※ The battlefield has no item level restrictions.

The Hall of Fame can be found at the bottom of the Mini-Map at the top right of the screen.

When clicked, a dedicated UI appears.

Training Ground

The training ground is a space for one-on-one confrontation with a specific NPC. Feel free to try out your controls against an AI.

As a reward, you can get gold, experience points, honor points, and various rune stones.

▲ The training ground has a total of 18 levels, and rewards can be received when the level is achieved.

Evil Spirits Castle

The Evil Spirits Castle is battle royale content.

It is a place where 6 matched players from both factions gather and there can only be one winner.

After entering, you can get a beneficial effect by clicking on objects located in all parts of the Evil Spirits Castle. (Random effect will be applied)

Also, after a certain period of time, the attack power increases in the center of the Evil Spirits Castle

Be sure to get the effect and defeat your competitors.

1. After entering, click on the object to get a buff of random effects.

2. When you touch the flame, you take damage, so avoid it well and kill other players to survive to the last 3 players remaining.

3. Get rewarded.

▲ A barren battleground that is getting narrower with flames.

Don't forget to interact with objects that give a random effect, and objects that increase attack power.

In the Evil Spirits Castle, rewards are differentially paid according to the rank so that you can be the winner and get a significantly higher reward than the other players.

As a reward, you can earn honor points and seals of honor.

Tip! Psst... Take advantage of stealth and bushes.

Among the random effects, there is a stealth effect. If you gain this effect or become invisible by hiding in a bush, your opponent cannot discover you.

(However, you can be discovered if a player approaches within 2 meters of you)

If you do damage to other players while in stealth, you'll want to take advantage of this as it will add a stunning effect to the target.

Battle Canyon

The Battle Canyon is a competitive content in which 3 players get a maximum score as a team.

Matching is possible regardless of faction and you can also enter as a pre-made party. (3 people or less)

Battle Canyon Boss Monster Robot No. 11. It provides the most points.

Sky Island Competition

Sky Island Competition is a strategic content that requires the collection of starlight and the kills of bosses faster than the other faction.

The rules are as follows:

Collect starlight and summon the Sky Island Guardians, then kill them quickly!

▲ In the picture, it is only one player who needs to quickly defeat the Guardian of the Sky Island in order to win.

Starlight Collection

In the Sky Island Competition, if you defeat monsters and get starlight, you can register it in the starlight collector.

※ If you die while you have the starlight, all the starlight collected will disappear.

※ Starlight does not accumulate in the inventory and can be found next to the buff area above the health, party UI, and the character's name.

Jammer

You can get up to 15 starlights.

When you have collected 15 and registered them in the Starlight Collector, you may be able to make a jammer appear in your opponent's camp. Use it strategically.

※ The opposing team where the jammer appeared cannot register starlight, so they must kill it quickly.

※ Until the portal is opened, you cannot go to the other area.

Boss Monster

When 70 Starlights are registered in the collector, Sky Island Guardians will be summoned.

Portal

Once the portal is created, you can proceed to the opposing team area.

The portal creation conditions and the advantages of defeating the opposing team are as follows:

※ It is important to move quickly because the time it stays open is short.

※ When defeating an enemy, use it strategically as it can slow down the progress of the opponent's competitive game.

▲ 1. Starlight collection status

2. Starlight collector

3. Opposing team area movement portal

4. Number of Starlight that you have collected

Winning Conditions

The first team to defeat the boss monster, or the team with the least life, wins.

If the boss monster cannot be summoned, the team with the most starlights wins.

Arena

The Arena is a place where you compete against matched opponents in a limited space.

You can enjoy the battle to your heart's content in a situation similar to the open world, such as equipment items, skills, and control skills of your character.

The Arena has three configurations - 1 VS 1, 2 VS 2, 3 VS 3, and can be entered with a party.

▲ Pillars can be used as terrain features to hide or avoid long-range attacks.

Guild War

Guild War is content that can only be used by players in a guild.

If you configure 10 players within the guild, the attack captain can apply for a guild war match.

In the Guild War, there are two categories - Friendly Guild War and Rated Guild War

Among them, the Rated Guild War is a content in which the guild is ranked according to the rating, and can only be entered from 20 to 21 o'clock.

Select the Guild War category you want to participate in via the Guild (G) menu. If there are enough people in the guild, several teams can participate.

▲ Select the Guild War tab from the Guild (G) menu, and you can queue either Friendly Guild War or Rating Guild War. Note, however, that only the attack captain can apply.

Guild War Rules

In the Guild War, the team that first gains 1,500 points by capturing a limited base wins. This is a base-occupying battlefield.

▲ Panoramic view of Guild War.

The bases of the Guild War exist in the form of a flag, and they are located in the center, north, south, east, and west sides of the map.

The more bases you capture, the more points you can earn.

Occupation of the stronghold is said to be the core of the guild battle. Therefore, it is important to quickly gain a base once the Guild War begins.

The base is in the initial neutral state, and when you interact with it by pressing the "F" key, it changes to the semi-occupied state.

After a certain period of time, it can be fully captured.

▲ Neutral base/base semi-occupied/base occupied

The base occupied by other guilds can be taken in the same way.

Even if you die from an enemy attack, you can be resurrected from the nearby grave device of the base occupied by allies.

Wait! How do you make a guild?

In the main menu (ESC), select the guild menu, and a dedicated UI will appear. You can then click on the "Create Guild" button on the bottom right.

Tip! Guild creation costs 10,000 gold.

PVP/RVR system

Let's learn a little bit more about Elyon's PVP (RVR) system. It is in a  Q&A format for easy understanding.

Q. Is it safe to go away from the keyboard with my character in a camp or base? I wonder if I can die from the other faction.

A. Within the area of your faction, the opposing faction cannot strike first. An attack is only possible if the user of the faction in that area attacks first in advance by pressing Ctrl + B.

However, anyone in a disputed area can preemptively attack an opponent regardless of faction.

▲ In the case of the Vulpin faction, the Ontari faction cannot preemptively attack the Vulpin faction, but the Vulpin faction can preemptively attack by pressing Ctrl + B.

In the conflict zone, both sides are free to attack.

Q. Will my experience decrease if my character dies from getting killed by the other faction player?

A. If the character dies at the opponent's side during PVP, the experience will not decrease. During the PVP, if you die from an external factor other than PVP, such as a monster attack, your experience will drop, so be careful.

Q. My character was killed by the opposing faction player. I want revenge.

A. In the case of death by an opposing faction player on the field, resurrection is possible for revenge.

Q. I was killed by an opposite faction player. Can I find them and get revenge after regrouping?

A. Try the "Killer System" in the Main Menu (ESC). When you die by an opposite faction player, the Killer System of the Main Menu is activated. You can track the character of the opposing faction that caused your character to die.

Up to 10 people in 24 hours, only traceable once each one is done.

When tracking, you consume gold to move near that character.

When moving, the following notification message is output to the target being tracked.
