In Elyon, you can strengthen the equipment items equipped by your character in various ways to become stronger.
Let's take a look at how you can make your equipment stronger, along with the structure of the item.
Item Level
As in the structure above, the item level is listed on the equipment item.
When unlocking another area or entering a dungeon, please note that the average item level of the equipment items you are wearing is a standard as well as the character level.
There are a total of 7 types of equipment to which the average item level is applied.
- 5 Types of Armor: Helmet, Top, Bottom, Shoes, Gloves
- 2 Types of Weapons: Main Weapon, Secondary Weapon
▲ You can also wear a wingsuit, fishing rod, or material bag, but it has no direct relationship with combat power (Item level).
The item level can be increased by strengthening equipment or equipping a runestone.
Equipment Enhancement
So, how do you increase the performance of your equipment?
Equipment items above the advanced level can be enhanced to increase their item level and performance.
Strengthening armor increases hit points, and strengthening primary and secondary weapons increases the Min / Max Attack power.
You can also expect a direct improvement in combat power.
However, since the number of reinforcement slots is different for each equipment item, a strategy is required when strengthening.
Reinforcement Slot
Simply put, enhancement slots are the number of times that you can strengthen equipment.
If there are 3 enhancement slots, you can try 3 or 6 enhancements.
Slots with a golden border have a higher chance of strengthening succession, so it is recommended to use a hero or a lore-grade enhanced stone.
The reinforcement slot shape is as follows:
◇ General reinforcement slot.
◇ Golden slot: Enhancement chance is higher.
◆ Reinforcement success slot: Marked when strengthening succeeds.
◆ Reinforcement failure slot: Marked when strengthening fails.
If the strengthening fails, go to the strengthening craftsman!
By consuming a Purification Stone, you can restore a strengthening slot.
※ However, it can only be used once per equipment item and must have the same Purification Stone as the grade.
Purification Stones can be made at the Alchemy Crafting table of the house.
▲ Advanced < Rare < Heroic < You can make a Purification Stone with a tradition level.
Type Of Strengthening Stone
The strengthening stone is divided into three types:
General > Crafted > Unsafe Weapon / Armor strengthening stone.
Higher-level strengthening stones can also be obtained from various reward chests or by disassembly and synthesis.

※ Strengthening level can not decrease further from +0.
※ If you use the strengthening prevention tool, you can prevent the strengthening level from falling even if the strengthening fails.
Tip! Gold slots have a higher chance of success than normal slots, so it is recommended to use crafted/unsafe hardened stones.
Breakthrough Enhancement
Breakthrough strengthening equipment is a high-risk equipment item instead of a greater risk in the event of a strengthening failure.
As the strengthening efficiency is good, there are some limitations, you can only wear 2 breakthrough enhancement items, and the equipment is destroyed if the reinforcement fails.
▲ If there is a sign of fragility as above, it is a breakthrough item.
Breakthrough enhancement equipment can be obtained in three ways:
- Craft Armor / Weapon items at the Craft Table of the house.
- Obtained through hunting.
- Obtained in Outlaw and Stabilized Outlaw areas.
Rune Stone
Runestones are mysterious stones that have different effects depending on their name and color.
In order to take advantage of the Runestone's ability, it must be put in a Runestone slot of the same color.
Runestones have different abilities depending on their color.

▲ Unlike other rune stones, the balance rune stone can be installed in any color rune stone slot.
It has no rune characteristics, but it is a unique runestone that increases artifact power.
Runestones can be combined to make higher-level runestones.
Conversely, you can also break the runestones from the upper stage and make them a lower one.
※ When combining Rune Stones, if you fail to combine them, you will need to be careful because the rune stone's rating will drop.
So how do you get Rune Stones?
- Obtained as a reward from Hall of Challenge.
- Obtained via exchanging Hall of Challenge tokens.
- Obtained through field hunting after using legacy.
Hold up! What is Legacy?
When used, this item can yield additional rewards for the duration of activation if you defeat a monster in a specific area.
There are three types of silver and gold legacy that can be purchased from Harth Archaeologists.
The types of additional rewards that can be earned when using legacy are the same.
There is a difference in the probability of acquisition depending on the type. (15%, 30%. 50% respectively)
Legacy can be found all over the hunting grounds.
Harth Archaeologists can be checked at the regional bases near the flag base of hope and the base of steel lava.
Rune Stone Slot
Rune Stone slot is a slot that can be equipped with a runestone.
The color of the slot and rune stone must match to be worn.
For example, in the blue runestone slot, only the blue runestone can be worn.
▲ Balanced runestone can be installed on any color runestone slot, but rune characteristics cannot be selected.
Runestone slots are randomly assigned to each item, with a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 5 runestone slots.
Rune Characteristics
If you put a runestone in the runestone slot, depending on the total number of Rune Stones worn, you can activate the Rune Talent.

The characteristics of each runestone are as follows:
Each rune property has 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 points to choose from. New skills may be added.
The Spirit Rune trait has an attack/defense ultimate skill that you can select when you reach 10 points.
You can choose a new skill when you achieve 40 points for the Protection Rune.
You can choose a new skill when you achieve 50 points for the Greed Rune.
▲ In particular, the ultimate skill (10 points of Spirit Rune characteristics) is highly useful.
Whether to select the rune characteristics of high points by intensively installing one rune stone or to spread out your rune characteristics by choosing to slot various different rune stones is up to the player.
For your class, try to activate it by selecting the rune attribute that suits your play style.
Enchanting And Re-Rolling Runestone Slots
In addition to the methods described above, how can you make equipment items more powerful?
Get help from the enchanters at each base. They have very special options like enchanting and re-rolling runestone slots.
Enchanting
When giving a magic effect on equipment (enchanting), it gives special abilities to each equipment part.
It requires a small amount of Rune Stone Powder and Enchanted Shard.
In addition, if the equipment item is strengthened by +5 or more, 2 additional Rune Stones can be obtained depending on the enchanting effect.
If the item is strengthened by +10 or more, you can get an additional 5 points of Rune Stone by granting a special effect.
In particular, when a special effect is given, a special prefix such as "solid, precise" is created in the name of the equipment item.
▲ If you give a magic effect, you can get a glowing runic power effect with a low probability.
Granting special effects requires additional condensed Rune Power Gems, which can be obtained with a 100% chance.
Runestone Slot Re-Assignment
You're satisfied with the equipment, grade, and item level you've got, but what if there are few slots left in the Rune Stones? What if it's not the runestone slot of the color you want?
Runestone slots can be changed.
Rune Stone Slot Re-Assignment allows you to change a Rune Stone Slot by consuming equipment items. Just don't forget that it applies stochastically!
▲ After successfully Re-Assigning , the number of 2 runestone slots has increased to 4, and the color of the runestone slot has also changed.
When Re-Assigning a Runestone slot, equipment of the same area is required regardless of the class, and the equipment consumed as a material is destroyed.
※ Even low-grade equipment is well worth it if you have many runestone slots.
