Click the chat type at the top of the chat input window to see all the possible options.
You can change the chat type by selecting the type of chat you want to enter in the list or typing the shortcut command (/s, /g, /b, etc.) in the chat input window and then pressing the "Spacebar".
In addition, there are various system messages displayed in the chat window, and the type of messages displayed on a chat tab can be set in the chat settings.
